Differences

There are 38 pockets to the Double Zero Roulette wheel, there are numbers 1 through to 36 with a single 0 and a 00 (double zero). The zeros are placed in green as you’d expect from any roulette game, but they are positioned opposite each other on the wheel.

Another difference is the way the numbers are placed on the wheel – compared to European Roulette wheels, running clockwise the numbers are; 0, 28, 9, 26, 30, 11, 7, 20, 32, 17, 5, 22, 34, 15, 3, 24, 36, 13, 1, 00, 27, 10, 25, 29, 12, 8, 19, 31, 18, 6, 21, 33, 16, 4, 23, 35, 14, 2. There is an additional betting option on the table too – the spot for the double zero (can be found next to the single zero).

Objective

Like any game of roulette, it’s a game of chance and you have to guess correctly where you think the ball will come to rest. Correct bets will be met with a return as stated within the rules of the game. Study the wheel and the place your bets accordingly before the game commences.

Better odds?

Double Zero Roulette offers terrible odds compared to those of the standard European Roulette game with one zero. The original game offers a house edge of 2.70% whilst the Double Zero Roulette version offers a house edge of 5.26%.

The double zero and single zero are the pockets that give the house edge. If you were to bet on the double zero, you can expect a return of 35 to 1.

Other bets offered include the usual bets such as inside bets of; straight, split, street, corner and top line. Outside bets offered include; red or black, odd or even, high or low, dozen bets and column bets.

Any better than other games?

Due to the odds that the game offers, it is known as the worst possible variety of roulette you can choose to play – but it doesn’t stop t being enjoyable or producing some big wins.

Mobile compatible?

You can play Double Zero Roulette on a desktop, mobile or tablet device with no downloading required whatsoever.

US players welcome?

As far as we are aware, Double Zero Roulette is not available for residents of the US.

Other games by software provider

Worth a punt?

Due to the odds offered, this roulette game can be a real nightmare of a game to play, but there are plenty of ways you can win in a single spin – thanks to the inclusion of the double zero. The biggest return would come from a single straight bet at 35 to 1 with the worst bets coming from evens or odds with a payout of 1 to 1.
